Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 26, 2026

Dear User,

Emberpost is a quiet night-sky app for iPhone and iPad. You let the night pour out of an old letterbox, drift beneath the stars above 146 fictional places, and keep the ones you like as postcards. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the app, and by whom.

Two parts of Emberpost reach outside the app: advertising, served and measured by AppLovin MAX and the ad networks it mediates, and install and campaign attribution, handled by Adjust. Your night skies and postcards never leave your device (see section 4). The categories below match the privacy labels on our App Store page.

1. Information collected

Used to track you

The following categories may be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites:

Collected but not used to track you

These categories are not linked to your identity and are not used for tracking:

2. Advertising and attribution partners

3. Tracking and your choices

On first launch, iOS asks whether you allow Emberpost to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites (the App Tracking Transparency prompt).

4. Your night skies and postcards stay on your device

The places you discover, the postcards you compose, the short notes you write on them, and your sound and haptics settings are processed and stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and they are not part of any category listed in section 1.

When you choose to save a finished postcard to Photos, iOS asks for permission to add that one image to your photo library. The app only writes the image you asked for; it never reads your photo library, and the image is not sent anywhere.

5. Deleting what is saved locally

The in-app album lists every postcard you have kept, and each one can be deleted there immediately. The app's settings screen also offers a one-step way to clear your discovered places and saved postcards together. Deleting the app removes everything the app still stores on the device.

6. Children

The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's functionality or the services it uses change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
